Situated in 2½ acres on the edge of the pretty village of Broadway, near Ilminster, Somerset, Riverside Farm is centrally placed to explore the beautiful countryside and attractions of Somerset, Devon and Dorset.

Despite the name, Riverside Farm is no longer either a farm or by the side of the river! We have spacious accommodation with large off-road parking areas.

Less than 2 miles away are the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The recently restored Herepath Trails offer 22km of off-road access for walkers and riders. Within easy driving distance are the Somerset Levels, the beautiful Quantock Hills, the North Somerset Coast and the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline.

There are many National Trust and Historic properties nearby, including Barrington Court, Forde Abbey and Montecute House. For those interested in sport, the county town of Taunton offers golf, horse racing, polo and cricket.

Somerset and Devon are renowned for their excellent dining pubs, farm shops and of course delicious cream teas! Just 3 miles away is the award winning Perry’s traditional cider mills, which are open to the public.

There is so much to see and do in this area, but if you are looking to break up the journey on your way to Cornwall, this is an ideal stopping place. We are only 1 mile from the A303 and 9 miles from the M5.
